At my art lesson last week, we talked about pushing back the background. I need to make the background less prominent than the foreground. You want the viewer to look at the MOST IMPORTANT thing in the painting. So, I have been practicing this technique by dulling down the background colors, by having less details in the background. Do you think that I succeeded?
